The Pearl Bubble Coral is very similar to the regular Bubble Coral except the Pearl's bubbles are more numerous and smaller. Often times the Pearl's bubbles will have elongated tips.

 

 

Plererogyra, commonly known as Bubble Coral, is also referred to as Grape Coral or Pearl Coral. It is typically white, but can range from bluish purple to yellow or green. Bubble Coral can do well under a variety of conditions. It will do well with almost any amount of water movement and lighting, and can be placed at any level within the tank. It is not a particularly aggressive coral, but it needs to have enough room between it and other corals for it to expand freely during the day. Like most Large-Polyp Stony Corals, Bubble Coral will benefit from being target fed a small piece of krill or squid about every month.
