Branching Frogspawn Coral, Euphyllia paradivisa, can be a stellar aquarium showpiece, with a little care and understanding of its needs. Resembling a cluster of frog roe, Frogspawn is in the family of the Torch Coral and Hammer Coral, bit its tentacles are more translucent. The tips of the tentacles extend, at times, for five or six inches beyond the core of the coral. This extending process can definitely sting adjacent corals, so ample space should be given between the Frogspawn and other delicate corals. Though some other Euphyllia species can do well in all ranges of light intensity and water flow, Branching Frogspawn Coral prefers medium to high light and water flow levels. Substrate or lower-level aquarium placement allows for the best chance for success. They are moderately aggressive, Euphyllia Corals will benefit from occasional target feeding of a meaty food, such as small pieces of krill or squid. Euphyllia Corals are some of the hardiest Large-Polyp Stony Corals, so they are good corals for beginners.
