Galaxea Coral, Galaxea sp., is known by many names including Green Galaxy, Brittle Coral, and Crystal Coral. While pink and brown varieties do exist, Galaxea is most commonly recognized in its vivid green coloration form. It is fairly aggressive and will likely damage other organisms in which its tentacles come in contact. It will definitely benefit from occasional target feedings of plankton or brine shrimp. When feeding, pick a time when its tentacles are most visible so that maximum absorption can occur. Calcium and strontium will help ensure its continued health.
