- This live rock tends to be lighter and more "fragile" than Fiji or Tonga rock. The shapes are amazing with many pieces having an "orange peel" look to them.
- Pieces tend to be smaller (on average) than both Fiji and Tonga with the average piece size being approximately 3-5lbs with an occasional large piece in a box weighting around 15-20lbs..
- There isn't much macro-algae coverage but there is definitely encrusting corals evident on many of the pieces.
It is imperative to cure the rock again upon receipt, before it is placed in the display aquarium that contains fish, coral, or inverts. These are appox 50# boxes and the pieces will range in size
